Spring 2019 Group Acting Classes
These group classes accommodate 3 to 10 students where they will attend 6 two-hour sessions taught by Julian Taylor and Kristi Kargic. Spring 2019’s theme is “Ensembles” where students learn to perform scenes in small groups.
This 8 week course is designed to enrich veteran performers expertise on stage but also educate a first time thespian in class on all the foundations of theater needed to be successful. Students will learn theater vocabulary, how to use their voice to be effectively heard (speaking and listening skills), how to create a character using Stanislavsky’s acting method, and how to incorporate movement into their scene using the innovative blocking method created by director Kristi Kargic.
