This play is based on the life and mission work of Lottie Moon.

The first character enters heralding "Welcome welcome to TengChou China. My name is Li Si Fu..." This lovable Chinese cook describes to us the new "Devil Old Woman" who has come to this home in hopes to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to the people there. He takes us on a journey of faith where Lottie unbinds feet of little girls, opens up a school, feeds the poor, aids the sick, and starts new churches all across China.

Lottie Moon was one of the first single female missionaries sent to China and in this heartfelt story following her mission, we see how hard it was to live in a world where superstition and the feudal system were still going strong.

The play ends with Lottie on her death bed praying to God

"Lord, thank you for Jesus and the comforting Holy Spirit. Thank you for the being the one God of all, not just the Hebrews. Please Lord, help us live in peace and lead lost souls in to your presence. Thank you for sending me to China.  and Jesus... please send SOMEONE. Send them to INDIA, send them to AFRICA, send them to JAPAN, and Jesus send them to China, they need you so. Forgive me for all the world that I didn't do and send someone to finish the task."
